For my Managing Organizations and People class (MHR 3110) we are required to complete a group project. I lucked out and got put in a fantastic group! For our project we decided to refurbish the USU Amphitheater. The site was very rundown and not used very much. For our project, we sanded and stained all of the benches, in addition to cleaning up the entire site. A week after we renovated the amphitheater, we held a benefit concert to showcase the venue and earn money for the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business Microloan Account. Our group got a lot of really great press, including an article in the Utah Statesman, and segments on the local Cache Valley TV Station and the student tv station, A-TV News.
