Today is the 50th Anniversary of the Flinstones! Thank you Google for the sweet reminder. According to a survey of 2,000 people across the UK, the Flintstones is the most recognizable kids TV theme tune of all time. My memories of the Flinstones are watching it at my Auntie and Papa's house and playing with this sweet toy set my aunt had for us. We had a replica of the car, Fred, Wilma, Barney, and Betty figurines...the works. I think we even had a Dino the Dinosaur plastic toy. I'm pretty sure the main building resembled the Bedrock town center complete with a service station and garage. I'm going to have to ask Auntie if she still has it somewhere. Ahh those were the days...
