Christmas Girl's Night

To start our Christmas Girl's Night, my roommates (Sarah, Amy, & Melissa)and I went to Maddox's Ranch House Restaurant in Brigham City. The food was soo good! They constantly bring you hot rolls throughout your entire meal, and I'm a sucker for bread:-) For dinner I ordered chicken fried steak for the first time ever. It was absolutely delicious, especially combined with the homemade mashed potatoes and cooked carrots.

On our way home through Sardine Canyon, we witnessed the after math of a head on collision between a jeep cherokee and chevy truck. It was hard to tell that the jeep was even a car anymore. Airbags had blood stains and a carseat lay in the middle of the road. Both cars had obviously caught on fire. It was a humbling sight to behold. We were silent the rest of the drive. We were lucky to not be the ones in the accident. It happened only twenty minutes after we had gotten to Maddox's. The next morning, we found out that three people had been killed in the accident.

Humbled by what we witnessed, after we got home we got back into a cheery, happy mood. We got in our PJs and made Christmas Cards for our visiting teachers. When we were done crafting, we went to the store to get mint chocolate chip ice cream. We made brownies and had brownie-ice cream sundaes. To finish the evening we watched one of my all-time favorite movies, The Family Stone.
