Amy and I have been talking about going on a hike all semester. Today we finally decided to do it. The weather was perfect, and the scenery was beautiful. Although many leaves had already fallen, there were still enough on the trees to make it feel like fall. Overall, the hike took us about 2 hours. I've been working out, but the hike was a little bit harder than we expected. Despite my burning calves, it felt so good to be out in nature and be active. For a little while we forgot about school and talked about life. Doing stuff like we did today is what life's all about. There's nothing like exploring the outdoors.
